In the manner of Giuseppe Maggiolini, Milan, circa 1800
Each with rectangular top centrally inlaid with a classical figural scene within a circular reserve and a scalloped surround above a frieze drawer centered by a trophy issuing thyrses flanked by lion's head medallions, over a pair of drawers inlaid sans traverse with a central medallion depicting a classical male figure with a scythe seated in a dragon-driven chariot, flanked by flaming urn and arabesque-inlaid uprights, the sides with similar classical medallions, on tapering square legs inlaid with husk chains, minor differences in construction and size, each with incised letters MB on back
