From the story of Diana, centrally woven with Diana wearing her crescent headdress and accompanied by her hounds walking with Cupid who holds a quiver of arrows and gestures towards a stag, within a lush foliate landscape with a river and townscape in the distance, within dense foliate borders of ribbon-tied flowers and fruit including grapes and pomegranates held aloft at the top by four cherubs, the two central cherubs flanking a cartouche with the inscription AGIUM VENATIO ADSTAT, within later guard borders
