A Moustiers shaped oval blue and white basin
Circa 1720
With fixed beast's mask handles, the interior with putti, sphinxes and Neptune on strapwork and plinths joined by scrolling foliage, the exterior similarly decorated with herms surrounded by strapwork and divided by diaper panels between foliage and dentil borders, on four paw feet (four pieces broken from one end and restuck, some minor chipping and flaking to rims)
