A pair of Luneville recumbent lions
Circa 1780
Modelled to the right and left, each with its tail curled over its back, their white bodies with blue markings and yellow manes, the blue paws, ears and faces with manganese markings, the mouths, nostrils and pupils picked out in red, the ears pierced, on rectangular green-sponged plinths (very small chip to tip of tail of left lion and to rear left paw of right lion)
Approximately 18 in. (45.5 cm.) long (2)
