1790, blue interlaced L's enclosing or flanked by date letter mm, painter's PM. monogram for Massy, incised 44 to cup and 41 (?) to saucer
Painted with named birds, the cup with Gorge Bleue (?), and the saucer with Femelle du _ Rosfignol de Muraille, within gilt cartouches and a broad band of gilt scrolling foliage and flowerheads divided by bands of dot ornament, gilt line rims (some minute rubbing to gilt rims)
