A Vienna part dinner-service
Circa 1792, blue shield marks and various Pressnummern
Painted with scattered cornflowers within a green myrtle-leaf border edged with narrow gilt bands, comprising:
Two circular two-handled soup-tureens, covers and spreading circular stands, each with four bracket feet, the covers with gilt vase finials (one foot chipped and restuck, another chipped, minute chipping to feet)
Two cylindrical ice-pails, covers and liners, each on three tapering gilt-fluted legs, gilt paw feet and stepped circular bases, the pierced domed covers with gilt-leaf cylindrical finials
Two bucket-shaped two-handled seaux, each on a circular spreading foot
Two oval two-handled monteiths
Two oviform two-handled bowls and covers, the covers with flower finials
Two oval two-handled sauce-tureens, covers and stands (minute rim chip to one stand)
Six pierced oval two-handled baskets and six stands (one with small chip to footrim, another with minute chip to footrim)
Six oval serving dishes in three sizes
Six oval deep dishes in two sizes
Three triangular dishes
Two large shaped triangular dishes
Five large shaped square dishes (one with chip to underside of rim)
