Circa 1723, blue enamel crossed swords mark beneath K.P.M, gilder's t. to both
The curved spout with bearded mask terminal and loop handle with foliage terminals both painted with indianische Blumen, the sides with figures at discussion in extensive wooded river landscapes, within elaborate purple, iron-red and gilt Bttger-lustre panelled quatrefoil Laub-und-Bandelwerk cartouches beneath a Gitterwerk border and gilt line rims, the domed cover similarly painted and with gilt ball finial (teapot broken through and restored)
