Painted with an estuary scene with figures loading boats and small ships before a distant tower, the reverse with a figure riding a mule over a hump-back bridge by a rocky outcrop, the finial of the cover formed as a branch with flower and foliage terminals, gilt line rims (slight chipping to finial and slight wear to gilt rims)
