Two Meissen models of owls
Circa 1750
The first modelled to the right, its ochre plumage with dark-brown markings, the second modelled to the left, its pale-brown plumage with dark-brown markings and with large white patches about its eyes, both perched on shallow circular mound bases (chipping to edge of bases, slight wear to enamels, minute restoration to three ears, the second with slight re-touching to enamel of beak and base)
