A 19th Century gold bangle,
of Royal connection, the twist design with invisible hinge, suspending a circular boss locket back pendant with matching twist design border, the hair-set reverse with engraved crowns above monograms AC and RW, with the name Adolphus and date 1849, in a fitted case stamped Tessier & Sons, the locket contains the hair of Adolphus Frederick, first Duke of Cambridge, 1774-1850, seventh son of George III.
