Two Staffordshire creamware gadrooned plates
of Wheildon type, one moulded with four flowerheads within scroll panels on a border impressed with a swirl pattern, sponged in brown and splashed with green and ochre glazes, circa 1770 (minor crack, minor rim chip) -- 24cm. diam., the other with a border moulded with basketweave scroll panels, sponged in brown and splashed with green glazes (some crazing to glaze) -- 24.5cm. diam.
