An English pottery nursery plate
printed in black with a quarter-length portrait of George IV, the border moulded with animals and stylised flowers, within a black rim, circa 1830 (minor scratches) -- 12cm. diam; a plate printed in blue with a quarter-length portrait of Victoria below a crown, inscribed VICTORIA REGINA, Crowned 28th of June 1838. Born 24th May 1819. Proclaimed 20th June 1837., within a border moulded with flowers, circa 1838 (minor surface wear) -- 11cm. diam.; and two pottery hexagonal plates, one printed with a quarter-length portrait of Victoria, the other with quarter-length portraits of Victoria and Albert, circa 1840 (minor damages, staining and crazing) -- 15cm. and 13cm. diam.
