Edward Seago often sailed Capricorn down the East Anglian coast to paint at Pin Mill on the River Orwell in Suffolk. He delighted in the variety of sailing vessels in the estuary and it became one of his favourite painting grounds. (see J. Reid, Edward Seago The Landscape Art, London, 1991, p.104).
