Evening sunlight, Honfleur

Seago was fond of the small fishing port of Honfleur on the south side of the Seine estuary. This painting shows the Quai Ste. Catherine where he would often moor Capricorn before winding his way along the Seine towards Paris. (see J. Reid, Edward Seago The Landscape Art, London, 1991, pp.181-182).
