Rye from Cadborough, cloudy morning

Pissarro stayed at Weston House in Rye with his friends James Bolivar Manson and James Brown (who painted under the name P. Conway) from 1 July to 2 September 1913. The view of the town from Cadborough became a popular subject for all three artists.
