with branch-moulded handle and mask terminal issuing trailing ivy, moulded in relief with a mermaid and triton supporting a putto above a shell, the lower section moulded with alternate rectangular panels and bands of entwined leaves, shape 471, impressed mark, year cypher for 1869 (restoration to rim and neck, some minor staining) -- 30.5cm. high See illustration
