An unusual band sampler of knitted silk with various coloured bands with geometric motifs, one with a stylised floral sprig, another with embroidered and tamboured embellishment with floral scrolls and bows, initialled "T.H." at one end--2 x 38in. (5 x 96cm.), circa 1790-1800, re-backed, some wear
