signed and dated 'Vestier f. 1779' (lower right)
oval, 1.3/8 in. (35 mm.) high, two-colour gold frame chased with a laurel band intertwined with a ribbon, marked with the Paris date letter for 1776/77 and with the charge and importation marks of Jean-Baptiste Fouache, maker's mark rubbed
