Circular box, the hinged cover and base centred by circular glazed miniatures painted en grisaille with playful putti, the sides inset with four similar rectangular miniaures, all within gold frames chased with band of laurel and set on panels of translucent green enamelled engine-turned grounds, applied with pierced trailing floral scrolls on lid and base and with fluted Corinthian pilasters and floral swags on the sides, the gold borders chased with stylized acanthus
