Rectangular box, the cover cast with Amphitrite riding on a sea-horse and a sea-Pegasus, surrounded by foliage cast in four colour gold on a frosted gold ground in an octagonal frame, four vari-colour gold flowersprays in the corners linked by engine-turned flutes, slightly raised stamped thumbpiece, the front and rear side walls and the base engine-turned with a peaked pattern within frosted bands stamped with trailing foliage, the bulging left and right hand side walls cast with four-colour gold floral motifs on a matted ground within ribbon-twist borders
