Upright slightly tapering flattened silver tui, both sides of cover and base covered with dark fishskin, both sides of the base centred with plain oval silver reserves, reeded silver mounts and slightly domed silver top, the inside fitted with two-leaved tablets, a folding silver ruler, steel tweezers with incorporated nail file, silver ear spoon, steel scissors with folding silver handles, a silver rasp, a silver pen holder, two slightly tapering octagonal silver handles with detachable caps to be used with exchangeable implements such as two steel knife blades, a steel bodkin, a steel fork and a steel screw
