cover 1869 (9 Nov.) a commercial, triple-rate envelope from North China Insurance Company to London, sent by French mail and endorsed "per Messageries Imperiales", bearing a single-franking 96c. brownish grey just tied by "B62" in black with "4/-" rate mark in red ink alongside. Despatch and arrival c.d.s. are on the reverse. Some minor creasing around the edges of the envelope caused by the oringinal enclosure, a very rare single-franking cover. Photo
