The mechanical movement wound through the crown, the gilt cuvette with an applied vari-coloured gold scene depicting a couple performing an erotic act, the eccentric white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gilt moon-style hands, sweep centre seconds, central alarm hand, surrounded by a painted polychrome pastoral scene surmounted by a vari-coloured gilt automaton depicting a falconer watering his horse at a trough with a lady operating the pump which flows simulated water, the huntsman raising and lowering his arm holding a hawk, the case with reeded band, the hinged back engraved with musical instruments on sunburst design and surrounded by foliage and scroll decoration, alarm winding and setting crown in the band, the automaton activated either by depressing a button in the cuvette or in unison with the alarm, together with original key and original fitted presentation box, case signed and numbered, dial signed
