The present image is one of many pencil sketches found on the same sheet, including studies of flowers, children and landscapes. This drawing will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of the artist's work, which is being prepared by the Newington-Cropsey Foundation, Hastings-on-Hudson.
