With copper-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, bimetallic balance, the silvered matt dial with applied Arabic numerals, Ferrari emblem to 6 o'clock, outer tachymetric ring, inner ring calibrated for 20 kms, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 45 minutes register, the circular case with downturned lugs, engraved inscription A Gigi Villoresi 2 Assoluto al G.P. di SPA 1950 Enzo Ferrari to the snap on back, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Gigi Villoresi received this watch from Enzo Ferrari for winning the 2nd place in race number 12 at the Grand Prix of Spa on April 12, 1950, race number 12, driving a 125 twin staged supercharged Formula One car.
