The centre enamelled with a large coat-of-arms above a banner inscribed ZEELANDT, surrounded by peony and daisy sprays and birds in flight, the well with small oval cartouches containing carp and prawns reserved on an underglaze-blue diaper ground, the broad everted rim with larger shaped cartouches containing figures seated in contemplation below trees alternating with birds flying among prunus branches reserved on a different diaper ground
