Circa 1765
Moulded with a Chinaman seated on a small island fishing; together with a group of English wares, most with blue marks, including: a powder-blue ground Chinoiserie coffee-cup and a saucer; a fluted teabowl and a saucer with cell pattern borders; two teabowls and two saucers printed with variant patterns of flowers or fence; an oval rocaille moulded sauce-boat decorated with flowers, the rim with cell pattern; a small mug decorated with Chinoiserie landscape vignettes; a geranium-leaf moulded pickle dish; and a spoon-tray, the turquoise border decorated en grisaille with pearls
