Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letters FF for 1783, painter's mark for Nicquet, gilder's mark for Chauvaux, the cup incised 37A and 27, the saucer incised 41
Painted with baskets of flowers suspended from gilt-foliate scrolls edging blue enamel bands, a further concentric band of gilt-foliate scrolls and seeded rosettes and a third band of trailing roses reserved on the blue enamel ground (2)
