The cover painted with European harbor scenes in a continuous scene centering a gilt rosette and enclosed within a band of gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk, the ecuelle with double-scroll handles painted with European harbor scenes within gilt cartouches issuing purple and iron-red foliate scrolls, the interior with a gilt band
