A MEISSEN SCHWARTZLOT TEABOWL AND A SAUCER
Circa 1725, the teabowl with enamelled blue cross swords and gilder's 50., the saucer with blue cross swords and gilder's 60.
Both painted in black with European harbor scenes within gilt and Bttger lustre cartouches enriched in purple, beneath a purple foliate scroll, that of the saucer further enriched with purple chinoiserie vignettes, both with gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk borders, the interior of the teabowl in purple with a 'salami' pattern of diaper and flowerheads (2)
