Of baluster form and painted with Holschnitblumen, with silver lining and domed cover pierced with quartered triangular panels of flower trellis, the shaped soot with leaves and rushes extending up both sides, the pot lined in silver-gilt

The present piece was originally a hot-milk jug, now adapted for use as a caster.
