The canted rectangular top with Brain-inspired designs within a guilloche surround, the concave outer molding of the lid and ogee-molded sides of the box similarly decorated, the edge of the lid with alternating bead and flower-head guilloche banding, the lower edge of the box set with a quarter-circle acanthus molding, the corners of the lid and box set with acanthus leaves, on later toupie feet, the escutcheon later
