The ormolu circa 1745, the porcelain Kangxi (1662-1722)
Each jar molded with three prunus branches above a flaring foot incised with a meander, the covers molded with scrolling foliage around a fruit-form knop issuing three stems of buds and leaves over a beaded cap with scalloped flanged edge, the scallop-edged rim on the cover affixed with a scalloped flange, the incurved neck mount pierced and repouss with rocailles above a beadwork border, the foot set with a pierced and scroll base
