The eared rectangular top with a panelled floral marquetry sprig, the sides, drawer fronts and bottom tier similarly inlaid, above three short drawers, the top drawer fitted with a leather-lined writing- surface, the back with a silk-lined up-sliding firescreen, on gently cabriole tapering legs joined by a plain under tier, the feet with rocaille sabots
