Stamped F.SCHEY twice, Circa 1780
The rectangular superstructure with three drawers interspersed with fluted panels above a cylinder enclosing a fitted interior and leather-inset writing-slide, above a frieze drawer flanked by a deep drawer faced as two drawers and a pair of drawers, with slides to the sides, on tapering fluted legs with brass caps and casters, finished on the reverse, remounted, previously with a coffre-forte to one drawer
