A Russian silver-gilt cup with cover, niello inlay
Maker's mark EE, Moscow, 1835, also struck with the mark of the assay-officer Nicolai Lukich Dubrowin
Trumpet-shaped, with wide band of niello inlay on matted ground, depicting floral decorations, geometrical bands and two cartouches with flags and figural monument, scroll handle with rose and foliage decoration, stepped rim with fluted band, the domed cover with floral decoration, surmounted by an attached ring finial with similar decoration
