Maker's mark of Jas. Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, 1896; and marked 800, 20th Century
Circular moulded and oblong hexagonal, one on reeded base-rim, the sides openworked with trelliswork, flowers and vacant scroll cartouches, scroll rim, the other on four foliate supports, the sides openworked with lines and roses at the lower part, with floral, scroll and foliate decoration and two plaquettes showing a street festival at the lower part, applied beaded rim, the partly openworked swing-handle with bandwork, roses and beaded cartouche, with blue glass-liner
