Tapering and on a domed spreading foot, cast and chased with scrolls and fruits with trelliswork and corded band above, the body engraved with a sailing ship, figure and with scroll and floral cartouches enclosing later panels engraved with standing figures, panels appeared to be inset in the body and engraved later
