A fine Dutch silver coffee urn
Possibly by Adriaan Palm, Amsterdam, 1730
Pear-shaped, on three scroll feet, the aprons between, pierced with scrolls and central shell ornament, with moulded border, the lower part of the body with a tap with silver mounted vase-shaped spigot, further applied with drapery panels, the neck with cut stylised scroll and foliate panel, and applied with tassel and drapery panel, two applied scroll foliate swing handles, the detachable domed cover with similar applied decoration and cone finial
