The blade honzukuri, iorimune, torii zori with extended chugissaki, mokumehada with itame, suguha hamon with ko-gunome of nioi with nie and ashi, chu-maru boshi, the ura with an atobori dragon and ken horimono, suriage nakago, 28in. (71cm.); in its nashiji saya decorated with gilt aoimon, full tachi mounts of patinated brass chiselled with dragons and waves overall, gilt copper aoimon menuki, 19th century
