The wide blade hirazukuri with a dragon horimono on the omote, bonji on the ura, forging pattern itame, tempered edge notare of nioi, maru boshi, tang suriage, 10.1/8in. (25.8cm.); in a ribbed black lacquer saya with cast metal kojiri of a dragon among clouds, the tsuka cotton bound with brass fuchi-kashira decorated in copper and shakudo takazogan with Daruma and musical instruments, with menuki of a squid and a toad in copper and brass, a brass ishimeji tsuba with plum blossom and pine cone decoration, 19th century
