The script of these Balkan manuscripts, though distinctive, shows clear Turkish influence in its large elaborate 'tugra-esque' headings.

Abdullah al-Nahawi(?) and dated AH 1317/1899-90 AD, blue paper covered boards - 21.5 x 17.5cm.; kitab asha'if sahi suhabah shams al-din(?), 10ll. on yellow paper, overlining in red, headings in larger script in coloured panels, marginal notes, signed by Shams al-Din b. 'Abdallah al-Nahawi and dated AH 1317/1800-90 AD, printed paper covered boards - 22.5 x 18cm.; al-thahaf ila al-kabrar(?), 9ll., marginal and interlinear notes, headings in larger script in red panels, words overlined in red, signed by Muhammad b.
