Ihtisam al-Mulk was governor of Kashan until his recall to Tehran in 1871.
The State Printing Press produced a three volume edition of the Nameh-i Khusrawan between 1868 and 1871. The first volume was also reproduced in a photolithographic version in Vienna in 1880.
