A Channakale brown glazed ewer
modelled as a stylised animal standing with its tail flicked over its back, ears pricked and mouth open, decorated in red and gilt with stylised flowerheads, a moulded flowerhead to the front -- 8in. (21cms) high, 19th century, (restoration to legs).
