A young Lady, possibly Queen Marie-Antoinette, full face in blue dress decorated with flowers, an orange stole over her left shoulder, flowers in her fair hair
gilt-metal mount and rectangular wooden frame
oval, 2in. (70mm.) high; and two decorative miniatures of Ladies including one believed to be Mlle de Fontanges, in brown dress with white collar, her hair in ringlets; and another Lady, in dress of the Louis XIV period, in yellow and blue dress with lace border, a pink rose at her left shoulder and in her powdered hair (artist joins)
the former in gilt-metal frame, the latter in cast gilt-metal frame with ribbon surmount
ovals, 3in. (83mm.) and 4in. (102mm.) high
