painted by Harry Davis with Highland sheep beside rivers, among trees before misty mountainous landscapes, signed, within a roundel below gilt urns issuing flowers between scrolling leaves, each gilt with the monogram V, gilt marks, date code for 1923 (one cracked, some minor scratches) -- 22.5cm. diam.
