modelled by Carrier de Belleuse, as a maiden wearing loose blue robes, supporting a dark-blue-ground amphora gilt with butterflies and insects, seated on an upturned basket issuing flowers, on a mound above a circular base, signed CARRIER, shape 1761, impressed marks, indistinct year cypher for 1876 (some damage and restoration) -- 61cm. high
