A Svres style gilt-metal-mounted oviform vase and cover
painted with an eighteenth century couple in a garden, signed Rabert, within a raised gilt cartouches issuing scrolling foliage, the reverse with a landscape vignettes, the ground painted with scattered sprigs of flowers, with a gilt metal pineapple finial, leaf handle above beaded sections, the lower section with a band of stiff leaves, on a square shaped foot with canted corners, imitation Svres marks, late 19th century (some rubbing to mounts) -- 74cm. high
