STAR TREK: NEXT GENERATION
Approximately 34 pieces, including an early sketch, of the Enterprise 'D's interior, with areas for a shopping center, cargo, shuttle, holodecks, factory, labs, engineering, Captain's Yacht, and an extraordinary amount of additional detail. Numerous color sketches include an Environment Chamber, Holodeck Control Panels from "Code of Honor", Sick Bay Service Corridor, Med Lab Scanner from "Home Soil", also the design for main engineering in large color format, along with two groups of color photographs. Most items are signed and dated circa 1988. Probert took the photographs of the Enterprise main engineering core from the original film. He used them to more fully understand the space into which the Galaxy class engine core was to fit. The space created for the original movie complete with overhead catwalks and lighting, etc., needed to be re-utilized for the new series.
