The second report from Wilbur Wright on his and Orville's flight experiments, read to the Western Society of Engineers on June 24, 1903. Describing the brothers experience with a newly designed glider (equipped with a rear rudder), the report recounts the results from one thousand trial flights and their extensive observations of bird flight. Six months later on December 17, 1903 the Wrights made history with the world's first motorized flight. VERY RARE. Dibner 185. Norman 2267.
